Maa Baglamukhi Shani Dosh Puja

This puja follows a systematic approach to ensure maximum benefits and divine intervention.

1. Preparation for the Puja

The Puja is performed on an auspicious date and time (Shubh Muhurta) chosen based on the devotee’s horoscope. The puja area is purified with Gangajal, and the space is decorated with rangoli and flowers to create a sacred atmosphere. All necessary materials are arranged in advance to ensure a smooth ritual.

2. Required Materials

• Yellow Cloth
• Turmeric and Kumkum
• Black Sesame Seeds
• Maa Baglamukhi Yantra
• Havan Samagri
• Betel Leaves, Dry Fruits, and Honey
• Special Shani Dosh Mantra

3. Puja Rituals

1. Sankalp (Resolution): The devotee states their name, the presence of Shani Dosh in their horoscope, and their devotion to Maa Baglamukhi.
2. Mantra Japa: The following mantra is chanted 1,25,000 times to invoke Maa Baglamukhi’s protection: “ॐ ह्लीं बगलामुखि शनिदोष निवारय सर्वजनं शुभप्राप्ति सर्वमंगलं शान्तिमाय ह्लीं ॐ स्वाहा”
3. Yantra Sthapana: The sacred Maa Baglamukhi Yantra is installed in the devotee’s home or workplace to counteract Shani’s malefic effects.
4. Lighting the Lamp and Offerings: A mustard oil lamp is lit, and offerings such as yellow flowers, honey, and Prasad are made to seek Maa Baglamukhi’s blessings.
5. Havan (Fire Ritual): A sacred Havan is conducted, with offerings made into the fire while chanting the Shani Dosh mantra to eliminate negativity.
6. Aarti and Prasad Distribution: The Puja concludes with an Aarti, followed by the distribution of Prasad to share the divine blessings.
